Monica Maria is a Native New Yorker, former high school art teacher and this August, she celebrated working independently in her business full time for 7 years! She is super passionate about supporting others create personal and professional success through profound healing and bringing people together! Learn how Monica explored these two passions and created a successful business from them.

How did you get started with your current career path/business journey? I’ve actively been involved in personal growth and development since I was 16 years old. I entered the space of holistic healing professionally in 2008 after becoming certified as a holistic health coach. Since then I also became a certified breath coach, a reiki master, and an Akashic records reader. In 2012 I also started producing biz events for the conscious business community in NYC and eventually evolved my biz to support other entrepreneurs with their business with a combination of soul healing and heart-based business strategy. 

What do you find is the most rewarding aspect of what you do? When I can assist you to heal and love yourself more than ever that your whole life and business improves as a result.

As you know, we are about inviting other women to sit at the table. How are you inviting other women to take a seat at the table? I have been leading midweek breathing mediations every Wednesday in July in the meditation room. My goal is to help members access internal tools for their success, wellbeing, and happiness. 

What impact has Luminary made in your career? As an entrepreneur...it gets lonely! It's been invaluable to have a place where I can commune with other boss ladies and have a space to connect with other powerful, like-minded ladies.
