Tell us a bit about yourself! How did you get started with your current career path/business journey?
I got started with Snowy Consulting and Media because there is a lack of education around building a business especially around business credit. I got injured at my job and was diagnosed with kidney cancer so when I went out on leave, I decided to form my business. Then the pandemic hit, had two surgeries and my job was trying to force me back to work when I wasn't fully released or recovered so I quit the toxic job and have been working on building back my client base.
What behavior or personality trait do you most attribute your success to, and why?
What’s a mistake you made early on in your career, or in your business, and what did you learn from it?
Not marketing properly.
What’s one professional skill you’re currently working on?
Getting rid of Imposter syndrome.
How do you invite others to take a seat at the table?
The only permission you need in order to stop playing small is your own. And hence, when the opportunity is small, ask for it to become big! If you are being invited to play a small game, turn the invitation around ask to play a big game.
What is one thing you wish you knew a year ago?
That I should practice putting myself first.
