What We're About

Covid-19 has eliminated more than 25% of women-owned businesses in the United States. That percentage increases to more than 40% for women of color owned businesses.[1] Prior to the pandemic, women-owned businesses were growing at a rate of roughly 1,800 per day, of which 89% were started by women of color.[1] 

The Verizon x Luminary Fellowship Program is supporting businesses owned or founded by women by awarding a total of 75 fellowships. 

The program gives Verizon Fellows access to Luminary’s extensive global community, introductions, workshops, coaching, mentoring and business marketplace, The Luminary Collective. Fellows also receive best-in-class thought leadership, opportunities and insights from our partner Verizon.
