Testimonials

"The support we’ve received from Yelp has been priceless—from Yelp Elite events to the bigger stages like being invited to participate on a panel and featured on a podcast alongside brands that are household names. It has given us a platform and megaphone we would not otherwise have access to. Add to that the incredible people we’ve been able to be connected to that have added so much to this entrepreneurial journey.

As I sit back and think about the doors and windows that have been open to me along the way, I’m blown away and extremely grateful for the support. To know that a brand like Yelp is really out here extending real opportunities to small business owners like myself shows me how invested they are in the growth of not only my company (which I feel incredibly fortunate to have featured) but all the small businesses that comprise the site we know, love and trust.”

- Alex Bradberry, owner of The Sparkle Bar in Scottsdale, Arizona

"Yelp is more than a review site. It is a company that not only provides a platform for customers to explore businesses, but it’s a resource for business owners to gain exposure and business support. Yelp wants businesses to succeed and grow. It has been such a blessing to have the support from the team at Yelp and the opportunity to tell our story, as well as learn from others. Being a new business, there are so many ways we can learn from those who have walked in our footsteps."

- Misty Akers, owner of The Candle Pour in Tampa, Florida

"I’m a brand new Luminary Fellow and already the sense of community here is overwhelmingly amazing. From the onset of the kickoff zoom we were chatting, connecting, sharing, following each other on social media and even getting referrals. I’m so excited for what this year will bring. I’m so grateful for the opportunity to take advantage of all of the resources available to us and also the opportunity to network with other like minded women and hopefully collaborate with some of them in the future."

- Tiffany Barrett, founder/owner/head doula of The Priceless Woman & co-owner of Magic V Steam
