Tell us a bit about yourself! How did you get started with your current career path/business journey?
I became a professional speaker at 16 years old in St. Louis, MO. However, in 2011, I wanted to start my first company and had NO money to get started. My very first pitch was to the producers at MSNBC which led to me appearing on "Your Business with JJ Ramberg" on February 9, 2012. After I pitched on that show, an investor have me $500k to grow my business and we did. Before I knew it, I had won 13 national elevator pitch competitions, had appeared on "Shark Tank," Forbes Magazine, CNN, Wall Street Journal, MSNBC and even movies! The rest is history! I then started Perfect Pitches by Precious, LLC in 2013 and we have been kicking ever since! I am also a full figured diva, a poet, a serial entrepreneur, and a former attorney. I am also a 2X #1 bestselling author of "Bad Bitches and Power Pitches." Currently, my clients include Microsoft, LinkedIn, and Google to name a few!How are you overcoming challenges during the pandemic as a business owner?
Right now, I challenge myself every day to stay visible, offer great content AND stay positive. In a world full of the pandemic, an economic downturn, and social unrest, I want women to know that it is still possible to achieve your dreams. In fact, my clients and I haven't been this busy in a long time!

What’s a mistake you made early on in your career, and what did you learn from it?
Wanting everyone to like me and never make a mistake. I learned that I have to be true to myself and fulfill GOD's purpose for my life. Not everyone will like me and that's ok. As long as my clients, customers, friends, family and loved ones are here, I am STRAIGHT!!!

In what ways are you taking care of your personal well being and what are your #selfcare tips?
I love connecting and reconnecting with my support network and my true girlfriends. Laughing, talking on the phone, reminiscing...I also practice self love by nurturing my poetry and giving back to homeless women and those in transition by setting aside time to talk and hear where they are and encourage where they are going!
How are you inviting others to take a seat at the table #virtually?
By calling them up and inviting them to talk, chat and share their world with me! I am also showing other women how to pitch their way to success, especially right now through my virtual trainings.

Luminary has been responsible for promoting me, offering me opportunities to share my gifts and talents with the whole community. because of this, I gained NEW CLIENTS, dramatically INCREASED my revenue and became even more visible than ever!
