Xina’s dedication and tenacity, complemented by energy and drive, have earned her a well-deserved reputation as an innovator who gets the best results. She is known for taking on projects that tackle issues of diversity and inclusion and that help reach disenfranchised and underserved.

Xina is co-founder of UNMUTE, the program changing the way people talk to each other about racism in the workplace, and co-host of Get Found Get Funded, a podcast about creating visibility, paths for growth and opportunity for entrepreneurs. Xina co-founded Black Female Founders (BFF), fostering conversations and solutions for Black female tech founders, and is a board member of BEACON, a Washington, D.C. initiative aiming to make the District of Columbia D.C. the No. 1 ecosystem for women entrepreneurs. She was recently named one of the Trending 40 Women of the New Power Women of D.C. Tech.

Xina began her career working on public health campaigns, serving a vital role in creating “A Healthy Baby Begins with You,” a Department of Health and Human Services campaign designed to raise awareness about infant mortality in the African-American community. This four-year campaign included celebrity engagement with Tonya Lewis Lee, wife of Spike Lee, and was one of the earliest public service campaigns to employ significant social media outreach.

Xina holds a Masters in Health Administration and Bachelors in Communications, both from the University of Michigan. In her spare time, Xina is an avid biker and enjoys traveling to and experiencing new places.

Mari Sifo is the EVP and Chief HR & Communications Officer at Host Hotels & Resorts, where her focus is driving business results through the unique intersection of strategy, talent, and culture.

Prior to her role at Host Hotels & Resorts, Sifo served as CHRO and Communications Officer at SWM International, Inc., as Senior Director of Human Resources at CP Kelco, and in other HR leadership roles at Mondelez International, United Technologies Corporation, and Owens Corning. 

Her record of success can be attributed to an unusual breadth of experience having held key leadership roles in operations, sales, and human resources, coupled with her multinational experience having lived in over three continents and held executive responsibility in over six continents.

Sifo serves on the board of 21st Century Leaders, a nonprofit that connects, transforms, and inspires high school students and is a graduate of Florida A&M University, where she obtained both her bachelor’s and MBA. She is an avid traveler and uses her experiences abroad to deepen her understanding of human interaction and experience. 

Mika is a New York-based business, trademark, and employment attorney. 

Her law firm, Mika Mooney Law, was born out of a desire to support female founders in all things legal in a straightforward, caring, and sound way; all with a goal of making legal counsel approachable & accessible.

As a litigator, Mika has argued countless cases in court and vigorously defended big businesses day in and day out, gaining a deep and extensive understanding of the legal needs of businesses and how best to protect them.
