UPDATED, Sept. 28, 2018, 7:30 p.m.: Women-only meeting space provider Luminary is opening its first location in NoMad.

The company, headed by former HSBC executive Cate Luzio, signed a 15,000-square-foot lease at Raizada Vaid’s 1204 Broadway. The 12-year deal covers the third and fourth floors and a rooftop space at the four-story, 21,300-square-foot property.

Luminary is scheduled to open in November. The company is taking over the space of flexible office provider District CoWork, which previously occupied the fourth floor and the rooftop. The NoMad outpost will offer members access to amenities such as a fitness studio, wellness and lactation rooms and a beauty bar. It will also offer educational programming.

“NoMad is the perfect home for our professional programming and growing community,” Luzio said.

The space will not be entirely off limits to men, though. Luminary has set aside the third floor and rooftop as co-ed floors for meetings and presentations.

The company joins a growing list of female-oriented spaces and social clubs.

The biggest player in the space is co-working provider the Wing, which currently has four locations in Manhattan, Brooklyn and Washington D.C. It also recently announced it would open in Los Angeles. Other brands in the space include SheWorks in Union Square and New Women Space in Brooklyn.

Update: This story has been corrected to clarify that Luminary is a meeting space provider, not a co-working company.
